Just back from Paris!

Paris Authentic

You may remember that we won a week in an apartment in Paris at The Womens' Daytime Drop-In Center charity auction. Great things can happen when you bid for charity! Kirstie and Jeff won a trip for their 30th wedding anniversary.

Art in Paris is everywhere - in galleries and musuems, in fashionable shop windows and in the streets. Paris is art!

Kirstie and Jeff  also visited a few frame shops to see the latest styles. There was one who used a frame as his door handle!

Enjoy!

To view our Paris album see The Framer's Workshop Facebook Page

We have also included a Facebook live feed on our home page, The Framer's Workshop.

What's Hot!

Goines Berkeley Horticultural

Berkeley Horticultural Nursery

We are always on the lookout for new local art, and this season, world renowned Berkeley artist, David Lance Goines, has produced a stunning new poster for the Berkeley Horticultural Nursery. You can read more about the poster on the Berkeley Horticultural web site.

We have a small quantity of the posters for sale at our shop for $35. each. Framed as shown, $495. We framed this one with an olive wood vaneer frame and an acid free double mat, the top mat having a "honeycomb" patterned V-grove.

You may also purchase them at Berkeley Horticultural. In fact, with a merchandise purchase of $350 they will give you one! Bring it in and let us help you frame it.

So start your summer gardening and support both local business and a local artist with a truly unique print.

We're back from the convention and trade shows!

posted by framers on Feb 3rd, 2008 at 11:12 pm

We're back from the trade shows with renewed energy and enthusiasm for our craft! Here are Lisa and Sarah in Advanced Fabric Wrapping. Of course they know their stuff really well, but managed to pick up a few important pointers from fabric guru, Baer Charleton.

We all took lots of framing classes and purchased dozens of new in-stock mouldings at great values, which we will pass along to you. We plan to expand our in-stock selection of framing materials and can't wait to share our new arrivals with you. All the new mouldings will be here within the next two weeks, so come on by and see what's new!

Five of us shared seven days of education and trade shows, a demanding but unforgettable experience which we plan to repeat next year. We are committed to continuing education and to bringing you the best value and design in the framing business.

We also attended the Photo Marketing Association trade show with an eye for future products which we will share with you as they arrive later this year. PMA is a huge trade show for the photography, scrapbooking, and framing industry. It was fun to explore different areas of our related businesses and share ideas with some of the best minds in these industries.

Come in and see all our new great framing materials at The Framer's Workshop.
